The room is very big & you can enjoy the hot spring in your room. This hotel gives us a peaceful & comfortable feeling. The hotel staff is very friendly & helpful.
Beautiful property and really enjoyed having an onsen tub in the room. Staff were lovely and helpful. Shame the check in time is later than most properties, felt like such a short stay!
The hotel and the onsen generally is excellent. All good and it was a great experience. If the shuttle bus frequency will be improved will make it excellent.
Really beautiful room and private hot spring bath. Quiet hotel and fantastic stay, I would love to return again. However snacks, and drinks are very limited in this area so I recommend stopping by a convenience store before getting to the hotel, and grabbing any drinks or treats that you'd like to enjoy from your room while there.
Room is spacious, clean and fresh. Good aircon ventilation. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Love the hot spring bath right in our room. Entire hotel premise is well maintained, clean and beautiful. Buffet breakfast spread is reasonably well stock. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
The private hot spring inside the room is nice and clean. They have another public hot spring in the hotel too. The breakfast is ok but not much choices of food. Overall 8/10
Room was clean and spacious. The best for us was the hot spring bath in our own room. Breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. Staffs were professional and courteous. We will definitely stay with hotel in our future trip.
Both rooms we booked were spacious, bright and clean.
Hot spring water bath with a big bath tub were available in our rooms.
There were also a separated tea room/ resting area in our rooms, compliment with snacks and soda in additional to tea and coffee.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, and free parking is available.
We had a lovely 2 night stay. The public hot spring and in-room spring water bath were highlights. Well maintained property with many comforts including free minibar snacks. Staff always lovely and greet you as you pass by. Some English speakers (not many).
Only constructive feedback (from a Westerner):
- The “happy hour” at the pool should be full bar service and discounted alcoholic drinks (that’s actually what happy hour means in the western tradition). Perhaps it would be better serviced in the restaurant?
- As a westerner, I love the good manners and rules that are part of the culture here. But after a few weeks they become very annoying. I shouldn’t need to be forced to wear a swimming cap in the swimming pool when I do my daily laps (that’s just silly). Thankfully the staff allowed me to borrow one.

Liked: Cleanliness
We stayed here for two nights. For a four star hotel with a unique in-room hot spring offering, I was surprised at how dowdy and ugly the lobby and common areas of the hotel were. I felt like I was going to a corporate building for some conference.
The room itself was decent, the bathroom with an in-built hot spring was of course the star. My partner absolutely loved this part. There was a small window with a view to the mountains.
For folks with accessibility or mobility concerns, please note that there were two different steps in my room that I kept stumbling over.
The way the layout of the room was, when you lie in bed there is almost no sight of the window or much natural light.
The one thing I absolutely disliked about the hotel was that there was no laundry service *and* room service. I find it really ridiculous that the hotel is sold to you as an escape and its solitude, but you are forced to go eat in the restaurant with noisy families, or go off the mountain into town for food or laundry.
Keep in mind also that this is one of those places with a checkin time of 4 PM (ugh!). They let us check in at 2 PM after I insisted a bunch.
Finally, I had a negative experience on the last morning. I was too sick to go down for the breakfast buffet, so my partner tried to bring some food up for me. They insisted that he could only bring up a slice of bread. He had to argue and add some fruit and an egg. Ridiculous, considering that I had paid for breakfast!
