"The view from the large windows is why I chose this hotel, and I wasn't disappointed with the view from the 21st floor. Lovely, clean, spacious room for a solo traveler with room under the bed for shoes and suitcase. A large TV with easily accessible HDMI ports, usb A,C and power outlets on both sides of the bed, A drawer under the padded bench for dirty clothes, in room safe (small), 2 complimentary water bottles (per cleaning schedule), floor standing air purifier unit, reasonably good black out blinds and a small moveable pedestal table are other niceties of the room. Bathroom amenities include the everloved ✨bidet✨ as expected, a deep bath tub with shower wand with *fantastic* water pressure and precise temperature and flow controls. The buffet breakfast was tasty and offered many options rotating through 2(?) "menus" being offered. Coffee to go it's a nice option available. Private indoor smoking room on the B1 level is adequate but would be nice to have a spot to lean/sit, besides the walls after a long day spent walking. Small cons are: no coin laundry option, but same day laundry service is offered, awkward hanger space if you need to hang jackets/coats and aside from the drawer, under the bed and the safe there are really no spaces to store things. 4.5/5⭐ staff was friendly and helpful too"

"Dirty lobby. Wifi did not work. AC stopped working morning of checkout. Not the most welcoming staff. Room was clean though dated."

"Great location right next to Hanzomon station with easy transfer wherever you need to go. Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were of a good size, service was great (you get slippers and PJs??? amazing) and overall we were very happy with our stay! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Tokyo."

"The room was packed with all the amenities needed for a good stay and the yukata was sturdy and of good material. Overall I really enjoyed staying at the hotel as the SPA facilities which included a public bath was larger than expected with both indoors and outdoors pool. The only downside is the noise coming from outside even though we were on floor 21 however the staff provided free earplugs for everyone. Highly recommend this hotel and due to its location in the heart of Shinjuku, it’s hard to beat with the affordable price we paid."

"Breakfast is expensive and the Godzilla patio was closed due to people climbing on him. The rooms and location were great. "

"The New Otani let itself down badly at breakfast. A “continental breakfast” consisted of an orange juice, coffee and two small, tasteless croissants and cost 4000 yen. In other hotels, a continental breakfast means all of the buffet except hot food. I complained to the garden lounge manager, who basically said “Sorry, that’s what we charge” then to the hotel duty manager who offered an apology, but did nothing concrete. The New Otani is otherwise a great hotel, but unless you are on a breakfast-included package, eat somewhere else."
