Wonderful front desk staff and beautiful place

The staff was so incredibly welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. We had an early flight prior to the breakfast hours the following morning, however the staff kindly offered to provide a boxed meal for us to take to the airport. It included a apple, banana, a few different pastries, along with bottles of water and juice. The room was amazing! We were meeting my family for a holiday. The resort is in a close proximity to the airport (15-20 min drive), which is very nice, especially if you have smaller children. The property is clean and well maintained. We have stayed on the bungalow side. The rooms are decent size. Accommodations are a bit smaller in Europe, so we were not surprised. The property was a “green” property and everything in the room supported that goal.

This is an extraordinary boutique hotel. Our room was luxurious with a very large balcony with large table and hot tub. Very nice view as well. Staff was welcoming, informative, and answered all questions well. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. Although a little bit out of the historic downtown area of Iraklion, that district was a very walkable distance away. We enjoyed being in the less touristy part of the city and enjoying the local restaurants and shops frequented by residents....

Highly recommended hotel with an amazing friendly staff from reception to room service. Our chamber maid Voula was exceptionally attentive and most accommodating. We enjoyed our stay to the maximum in a relaxing happy atmosphere. The entertainment in the evening was also exceptional with the 3 young tenors whom I fail to remember their names but they were majestic. This place was amazing! Definitely the nicest lodging I have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Gaia suite which had an infinity pool that overlooked the ocean directly off of the cliff. The staff was incredibly nice and helped with anything we needed. The only downside I can even think of is that the food and drinks were expensive, but it makes sense for a place as nice as Acro. Has a person at reception 24 hours. Walking distance from city center. Very close to restaurants and shops. There are 2 super markets in walking distance. Very close to Heraklion port.
