"The room was very clean, the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Especially Berna and Rosy. They were wonderful, Berna even went out of his way to get us a fresh coconut. We were treated like family and I want to make sure they get recognized. This is coming from a person that really doesn't like writing reviews. They really deserve recognition and praise! "

"Lovely place in the Tikal Jungle. Food was delicious. We stayed in the Hostal (without private bathroom) but the showers and toilets were close by and cleaned regularly. I understand that everything needs to be brought in but it would be nice if drinking water was available to fill water bottles instead of the constant need to use plastic bottles. Perhaps a goal for a greener future."

"The hotel is in front of the lake and has a pool facing the lake. Best sunset view ever. They even have a bar in the pool. The food was okay. But the staff went above and beyond for us. We had paid for breakfast but because we were leaving before breakfast time, they gave us a to go meal. Also helped us with the shuttle for the airport. Best experience thus far"

"Having a lake with beach access was amazing. The sauna and pool was wonderful. The restaurant was pretty unremarkable. It was nice that breakfast was included but some of the items on the breakfast buffet was at room temperature. WIFI is super spotty in the rooms. "

"Great place near the lake in El Remate, really helpful staff, beautiful setting in the middle of the jungle, yet having the small town vibe... Ideal to visit Tikal park... Food in the restaurant top notch, and not too pricey... Wonderful memories will stay with us for a long time "
