“Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.”

“I booked a room for four people but the room was only able to sleep three, disappointing that one of the boys had to sleep on the floor. I spoke to the management and they understood my concerns and said it has happened on more than one occasion and that Expedia need to change the description of the room. The room has one kingsize bed and a small single alongside it is defo not a room for four people. Other than that, the room was lovely, balcony super and staff really good.”

“The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. ”

“De kamer zelf is heel ruim maar de badkamer is amper 2 vierkante meter. De douchecabine is erg krap. Er is nergens plaats in de douche om iets van shampoo of douchegel te plaatsen. Er is ook zwarte schimmel op de voegen. De rolgordijnen in de kamer zijn ongeveer een halve meter te kort en kunnen dus niet het hele raam verduisteren. De matras en de kussens zijn van goede kwaliteit. Het ontbijt is erg pover. Enkel toast met choco of confituur, voorverpakte chocoladebroodjes en wat doosjes...

“Family friendly with excellent breakfast. Communal kitchen and lounge/ dining area. Extremely helpful staff . The bedroom had light with emergency lighting which is not conducive to a good nights sleep if you are a light sleeper.”

The grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of places to walk. The buffet breakfast was included in our booking and again was very tasty and had a great selection. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. “We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway Escapes. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They went out of their way to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was comfortable and the whole experience felt relaxed and well-organized. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!”
