"My flight was delayed over 5 times and then cancelled after I was waiting for 5 hours at RDU . Upon calling their shuttle was out of service but they still sent me an uber for pick up . They extended my check out time being I don’t have a flight till 10pm and they were absolutely so gracious and kind . They allowed me to hang out in the lobby and have my lunch and watch tv till I was ready to go . Truly 10/10 customer service and was SO CLEAN . A horrendous 32 hour layover and they completely helped turn it around for me . Thank you to the front desk Sasha whom checked me in & also to the young lady with curly hair and glasses that I didn’t get a name in the morning . I truly appreciate it all ."

"Clean room on the terrace was nice to chill outside. Pools were nice and plenty of chairs so never had issue getting a lounger Pool bar staff were excellent, took care of everything we needed all day Nice proximity to the beach so never had to lug stuff too far Pet friendly so was nice to bring the dog."

"Nice Hotel. Remodeled very well. Three elevator lifts. The elevators can be a little slower but not bad for them being in a historic hotel. Excellent location for the city! Saturday mornings across from the hotel they have a nice farmers market. And the attached Swamp Fox restaurant was delicious!"
