"The hot tub and pool were very dirty, full of sand, none of the ice makers worked, when I booked the room I specifically asked for the hot tub and pool to be near, I was out in the building across the road with no pool, no ice make, no hot tub, with the construction workers running fht outside my window. "

"This was our second time here and we got a 2 bedroom suite with partial ocean view, and loved it, the only problem we have is that the housekeeping is available only of you stay 4 nights or more and with kids and beach and sand it does gets dirty"

"All was nice at the resort! However did not sleep at all, the noise where the bedrooms are closest to the road are extremely noisy and nothing to drown out the noise, I recommend getting air machines in each unit! Also, coffee pot we had looked like it was falling apart, and like it was 15 years aloof although it did work, was very worn and rusty! Otherwise nice resort "

Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites

"The beach and the view from our balcony were spectacular, our room layout in general worked well for the three of us, the staff were all pleasant to work with and the late check-out by an hour was much appreciated. We did have to ask for more supplies like towels and toilet paper, and we were pretty disappointed that the jets in the hot tub weren't working - I have arthritis and it would have been a nice way to end the day at the beach. Overall, we would love to come back to the Shell Island Resort again."

Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes

"Beautiful resort. Room was very comfortable and clean. Ina took great care of our room. Restaurants and bars were fantastic. The ne concern we had was the water temperature of the shower. Very little cold water. The showers were always very warm to hot causing a lot of steam as there’s no ventilation in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend this resort!"
