โFantastic property and hosts. Breakfast, facilities and location are great. Linda and Steve made us very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend staying at Torwood House. Just beware that there is no off street parking at this property and we were unfortunate to be there on the weekend of the food festival that made street parking difficult. โThe hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!โ
โGreat location next to trains, and a fantastic pub/hotel with a very welcoming & friendly vibe. I wasn't expecting breakfast so this was a bonus to me! That said, rather pricey and not too good at being environmentally minded (single use plastics for soap and tiny bottles for example).โ
โStayed in one of the pods for a weekend. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Kitchen was about to close when we arrived, but they still served us a meal which was lovely. Pod was easy to access, spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything we needed.โ

โGood location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car.
Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat.
Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door.
Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold.
Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention.
Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. โ
โThe Old Piggeries is a charming place to stay on a nicely landscaped site. Very quiet and friendly park with good amenities. Penzance centre, beach, supermarkets, and petrol stations all within easy driving distance. Good value and property is well-equipped and nicely furnished. Cornish cream tea is a lovely and delicious touch.โ
โThe cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
