"After several ho-hum hotels, this was a bright spot on our trip West. This hotel did not disappoint in anyway whatsoever. Very clean, well-maintained, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. We loved taking an evening walk at nearby Lake Estes. We would only recommend a full-length mirror in the guest rooms."

"This hotel was such a surprise and absolute delight! We were enamored from the moment we checked in and were told about the s’mores available each evening. There is no better way to spend a first night in the mountain than around the fire, making a sweet treat, with that incredible view! We were also loving the bevy water bottle fill up station. So great! Oh, and the game room and pool area were a hoot! Thanks for having fun entertainment options for adults who never really grew up. We will absolutely stay here again and spread the word to anyone coming this was that it’s Holiday Inn or bust! Thanks for a great vacation!"

"Great location to the Rocky Mountains, easily walkable to local amenities. Loved seeing the deer on the golf course and literally right outside our door. Plenty to eat at breakfast just a shame we missed out on the first morning as we had a really early start with timed entry for the Rockies. Never mind you win some you lose some (had to make do with a McDonalds muffin)"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Appenzell Inn. Everything was great except the beds are REALLY HARD. I doubled 6 blankets underneath the bottom sheet to make it somewhat comfortable. A pillow top or gel topper would work wonders."
