"The Star Grand is a beautiful hotel. The room was amazing facing onto the river and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the Nespresso machine in the room. The amenities here are fantastic. The pool area is 5 ⭐️with an amazing view of Southbank. Love that you can access the Skydeck easily and enjoy all that the Star Grand has to offer. Great location, walkable to everything."

"It’s a construction site! That’s obviously not outlined on their website! So yeah- workman everywhere, dirty carpets, very uninviting lobby. The room itself was fine- no issue. But yes- everything else a construction site! I wonder if Inpaid full price despite the false advertising?"

"Restaurant chairs are in need of replacement or at least a deep clean with a lot of dirty marks. Carpet in the room was also looking a little worse for wear and could use some spot stain cleaning at least, especially if you've paid for a premier room. Staff were the stand-out for this hotel. Friendly, professional and attentive in all areas of the hotel but that would be the only area I would say this hotel outstrips competition. Public reception areas were well presented and clean but restaurant and my room were not at the same standard."
