Rising from its core is the Sunshine City compound, which provides a range of intriguing and otherworldly exhibits and experiences. Immerse yourself in the district’s thriving otaku culture, which centers on a passion for online and virtual worlds. Drawings of popular anime cartoon characters and digital representations are draped across the sides of the market stalls and shops.
Get close to these imaginary figures in Namco Namjatown in the Sunshine City complex. Wander through its haunted house area and play a range of video games. On the top floors of the complex is the Sunshine Aquarium, with penguin, pelican and jellyfish exhibits. Admire the wonderful views of Tokyo’s skyline from its rooftop terrace.
