“Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

“Had a lovely 2 night stay at Compton guesthouse. Clean and comfortable very large room with ensuite bathroom (including a bathtub) lovely victorian building. Didnt see any staff during our stay but this was not an issue as given check in instructions via text message. Short walk to centre with numerous bars and restraunts. Will definitely stay again.”

“Volodymyr and his wife made us feel very welcome, like old friends. Breakfast was wonderful. The entire place was spotless. The ambience is almost 'Dowtonesque' without any of the pretentiousness or snobbery. They even have a beautiful Blüthner grand piano in the sitting room. This was our first time staying here but it won't be our last.”

“One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. ”
