"This is our first time to Cabo and to an all-inclusive property. The resort overall is overall clean, quite well run. There is direct access to the beach although it is not swimmable - there were patrols to ensure we didn't walk too close to the waves. The hotel room was spacious although could use some upgrades in the bathroom. Housekeeping service was great and prompt to response to our requests via their Hyatt app. We were happy with the food options - all the restaurants had great selections and quality for decent for the price point. I especially appreciate the large selection of mocktails since our kids got to enjoy some "fancier" drinks than just juices. One thing to improve would be on the consistency of restaurant service - we had a couple great servers but overall we had to ask for the same things several times. We also appreciate the option to drop off our kids at the Explorer Club so we could enjoy the meal at the adult-only restaurant. The kids club seems very fun as they have different activities throughout the day everyday. Our kids were only there for 2 hours and they had a great time. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Dreams and would recommend the property. "

"We were welcomed at the property beautifully. There were drinks available, the check in was smooth and although our ocean view room had 2 giant palm trees blocking the view of the ocean (a little sneaky)— the room was spotless and clean. Now, before I came I did write to them to ask for their help setting up some special things for my sisters birthday. I wrote twice and received no response. Here is what was great: 1) one of the concierges (I wished I remembered her name- maybeMaya? ) was Amazing!! She set us up with a great whale watching tour, made a couple of calls for me, was super professional and delightful… 2) they had a nice bar pool 3) housekeeping staff are amazing. Our room was always cleaned flawlessly and they were super polite and kind. Here is what wasn’t: 1) I asked the concierge to help me find a hairdresser to get my hair done. I asked him for prices and he gave me a range. I was very clear that I My sister and I went to the hairdresser to get our hair one. They did a fine job but the bill came and it was $800. The owner sneaked off and left her receptionist to manage telling us the news. Now shame on me- I should have confirmed pricing when I went in. But when I knew the top of the range- it was inside my budget (it was going to be at the most 250 each) —- when I went to complain at the concierge- he was totally useless. Didn't do anything to help, didnt offer anything to make up for it- and the manager never called me as I requested. . "

"Hotel was okay, we were celebrating 10 yr anniversary and never got anything special, only 1 dessert that we waited for over 20 minutes to get and said "happy anniversary". The first night we went to dinner to the Mediterranean restaurant the waiter was careless and felt like he was there forced and even the manager greeted us and asked how many years of marriage and didn't even bother to do something special haha. Other restaurants in Cabo tried harder with this. We never received the free bottle as stated on the check in. Another issue was the dinner, waiters always took a very long time. The store inside the resort was expensive, 100 pesos for an electrolyte I feel it was too much, not even at the airport. The resort is not eco friendly, they use plastic water bottles. Overall, stay was okay but what we paid I think other options are better. "

"Gorgeous property, nice amenities, good food, great entertainment. But they lost us at the service!!! Everyone is micromanaged by management and very strict on your consumption. It’s as if they didn’t even want you to have a drink or order food. My husband and I were there with our 2 kids and a simple order of 2 room service pizzas mode them was questioned, “why 2, how many people in your room……”. I’m confused why this is a question to be asked when I’m in a room for 4 and have paid a pretty penny to enjoy myself “all inclusively”. Hardly any of the staff were friendly or happy to serve you, you seemed like a major inconvenience to them any time you ordered more than one thing. We weren’t there to over indulge, but please, let us enjoy ourselves without feeling like we’re being monitored or rationed. Very odd “all-inclusive” experience. They need a better system. I don’t know if it is because there is time share guests there without wristbands or what. But it fostered a very uninviting experience for such a gorgeous resort. Surely there is a better way to serve your guests, And be less judgemental when doing so. We still managed to enjoy ourselves and had nice time once we got over the fact that we weren’t going to be greeted by service staff with a smile or encouraged to order ANY food or drinks. You need to order what you want when you want and not be offended by the judgement. We will not be back unless the system changes. A shame because this place is beautiful. "
