"Having had quite a difficult journey, the staff at Loch Shiel hotel were utterly superb and went above and beyond for us. Not only were they kind, friendly and so patient but the amenities and room were fantastic. You have not experienced Scottish hospitality until you’ve been to this hotel! Food was delightful and only beaten by their wonderful service. There was a great lively pub down the stairs and the rooms were cosy, clean and so comfy! Couldn’t recommend the Loch Shiel Hotel enough!"

"We stayed here for two nights and everything went well. The breakfast was very good and was in a nice and very clean area. On our second morning we were made to really feel welcomed by the breakfast staff. Other than that we felt that the outside customers were prioritized over the actual guests of the hotel. It was a very nice place but not sure I would stay there again."

"Lovely hotel/inn to stay at! The staff were excellent and quite helpful - even with our late arrival. Very comfortable room with private bathroom with shower that works well. Breakfast in the morning was quite good! Thanks for the lovely stay!"

"Great hostel. Exactly what you want friendly staff, very clean. Lovely guest lounge with huge games selection. Clean showers/toilets, plenty of kitchen space. We only stayed one night but space to store food etc if staying longer."

"Beautiful room - a comfortable place that feels like a home. Attention to detail was throughout. From the carpet to the ceiling was quality, and extremely clean. The sunny living room was so comfortable. This beautiful little harbor town had the friendliest folks. The only regret, I didn’t book a longer stay. Side note - I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was too nice not to share."
