โThe room we stayed in was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. The hotel is near the ferry dock and walking distance to the main street. Stefano our host was super nice and attentive! We had a great time at the hotel and would recommend it to everyone!โ
โBeautiful property overlooking Lake Como. Terraced and private, and offers exceptional vistas. Hosts were lovely and incredibly helpful arranging local dining, transportation, and activities. Rooms were spacious, entire place was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the showers were excellent. Conveniently close to Como and Bellagio. Would highly recommend this place. โ

โWe loved staying in this hotel with its unique history and beautiful decor. It is a special place in a wonderful location and we had fabulous views from our balcony. The walk to Morcote took under 30 minutes with lovely views but you need to wear trainers as the path is uneven. We also enjoyed walking to the castle through the vineyards and exploring lake Lugano by bus and boat. We tended to get Uber taxiโs back up to to hotel as it was a steep climb ( cost 18CHF) โ
โThis hotel is in an excellent location! Shops, food, the lake, the funicular - all just steps away; that's why I chose it. And don't miss out on any of it; there was a DJ dance party at the top of the funiculare, and I happened across a lindy hop at a nearby piazza walking back from the funiculare. Such vibrancy!
And our room was so comfortable. I could even hear Tosca being performed live from our veranda one evening!
Plus, what everyone says about breakfast is true - delicious! Fresh...

โWe loved our stay here. The atmosphere was wonderful and all staff very kind and helpful. My only suggestion is that they might warn folks coming in that it's is a steep walk uphill so if you have bags you might want to consider the bus which stops almost right in front of the hotel. Without bags, it is a reasonable walk from everywhere and once at the hotel it is quiet and peaceful. I loved the breakfast being pre-selected, then ready to serve at your little table in the garden.โ
