this place needs help, the only thing I liked was the manager came and delivered tp and some wash cloths and was nice.

It was cheap, and the staff were good. The shower was dirty, one towel had a dirty hand print on it.

Idk why this is on here to book

I had booked a room here a month or more before we took our trip to Colorado. We find it and half or more had burned down. No one had contacted me that it was closed or anything letting me know I needed to make other arrangements.

Horrible

The rooms were filthy. Trash and stains all over the carpet, the furniture, the bathroom, everywhere. There is no soap or anything in the room and the fixtures were held together by duct tape.

Made a reservation late at night and drove out of the way to get to the Spanish peaks. We arrived it was pitch black and looked abandoned. Called the number of the locked front door to be told we couldn't check in, there's no running water due to a bursted water line. Property was completely empty.

Hotel looks run down and out of business

No Soap No clean towels torn and dirty looking towels. Mattress had some sort of bag thing under its sheet so it makes lots of noise and produces sweet like a sauna.

Would rather have an extended stay at The Overlook or Bates Motel. Must not be any health inspectors in the county, because the broken windows, destroyed and dissembled parked cars, and overall nightmarish quality of the place says otherwise. Can’t say much for the inside of the rooms as no answer on the online number after calling four times to reserve keys way ahead of time, resulting on not even being able to stay there for the night, yet still having to pay for the room and a refusal to get a refund. Stay away.

While I give grace to older hotels the a/c was not working, locks were not working, trash was everywhere outside and the room I requested was not ready. I needed two beds and the attendant tried to offer me a single bed. I had a sick child and had to wait for her to make everything up. We get in the room to discover very hard beds and that she brought us a heater not a fan. We left.

The one star reviews before mine are accuruate. I give it an additional star because the room was better than the service and the exterior. This business appears to be closing. One employee may be doing everything on the property and is rarely available in the office. He is renting only five or six of the 30 rooms on site and seemed to be friendly with one or more of the guests in those rooms. He put us in the room with the pile of trash bags in front. It was a Motel Hell on the outside, yet, the room interior was fair. No WIFI and the TV only worked on about 10 lower numbered channels. The upper channels were snowy and static. Scary place but if you are desparate, this is all you have to choose from other than sleeping in your car in some parking lot.

Had to wait to be uncomfortable

There wasn't anyone at the hotel to check us in and we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up. Our room had a door on the back wall that was locked from the outside and not on the inside and we felt uncomfortable with that and called to say something but was told it would be OK and nothing would happen to us. We stacked some tables and chairs in front of the door just to make sure.

Nothing was in place, nobody at front desk to book in and we have to ask another guest to call the owner who arrived after 20 minutes to let us in and then disappeared. Garbage all over the property and just beside our room. Smoke detector in the room was hanging on it's wiring. No breakfast offered. No internet. No coffee maker in the room.

The absolute worst motel I have ever stayed in. It was filthy, run down, and the smoke detector was dangling from the wall!!! I cannot believe Expedia represents them. Horrifying….. and terrible. Very unpleasant experience!!!!

Do not stay here. There is a pile of trash in the parking lot that has been there for what seems to be years, the rooms are not clean, and the building is falling apart.

Disappointed

Booked the room because I was extremely tired, reserved and paid on the website. Upon arrival the property looked questionable and I had to wait for the clerk to arrive. I checked in and seen the condition of the room. I decided not to stay and drove another hour to the next town.

Staff was very friendly. That's the only good thing to say. Start with no soap, no toilet paper,, no cups or drinking glasses, no wifi, no coffee of any kind, and dirty.
