A lovely place to spend some time. Quiet, beautiful grounds, excellent staff. We thoroughly enjoyed being pampered for a few days. Food was very good. They still have views of the Catalina Mountains and it was special being in the middle of a residential neighborhood instead of in a commercial district. Only drawback was that the hot tub was not turned on yet and we had looked forward to an early morning soak.

The hotel is renovating the property after a recent sale. We have stayed here many times before. The staff was very pleasant. Our rom was very clean but not one that had been renovated. The carpet was old and really nast (hard to justify for the price). The brunch was fine but not great (quiche crust burned, salad not dressed), so we only ate it one day. Also, no sides listed if we wanted a smaller breakfast. We usually eat at least breakfast there everyday we stay. This is still a lovely property away from the rough and tumble of the city. We hope things will improve after the renovation is complete.

The resort amenities are great with the available swimming pool and an exercise area with new equipment. The restaurant had outdoor tables and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The menu was the usual resort offerings. The mattress was slightly old and tended to sag on my side although it seemed fine on the other side.

The Arizona Inn is has the old world charm with modern amenities and is located in a convenient location in central Tucson. My room was situated in the same building as the kitchen and staff cleaning storage room. The odor was a bit unpleasant outside and inside my room.
