"This is a really nice hotel. Glad I wasn’t deterred by the negative reviews. The hotel is secure, there is security on the premises and cameras all around. I felt safe. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even got a baby lizard out of our room lol. It’s close to everything, no more than 10-15 minutes away. Taxis are high, we used ride shares but they are not welcomed by the taxi drivers so be aware of pick up locations. The place is so serene, really quiet and relaxing. The restaurant on site has really good breakfast. The power did go out on our last day for a few hours which is common in Tulum fyi. We just enjoyed nature and the pool during that time, plus the common areas like the lobby and restaurant has backup generators and were still operating as normal. Will stay here again. "
"Wish they had some sort of a buffet open during the dinner hours every night. Our first night of arrival no buffets open and all the specialty reservations were gone. No choice but bar snacks or the grab and go. Not a pleasant first night welcome dinner."
"I see why this property has the BEST reviews with so many people rating this place a 10/10! Im ruined for travel moving forward. You will not be disappointed in your stay here.
Forever and always a Conrad girl!!"
"The Dreams Tulum and Spa was a wonderful place to celebrate my wife’s 66th birthday weekend. The staff went above and beyond to make this a very special extended weekend trip on multiple occasions. Don’t DREAM about it, just do it.
4.5 for sure."
"Merci à la dame de la réception qui était très gentille et m’a beaucoup aider durant le séjour. Aussi l’hôtel est très bien mais un peu cher par rapport à Tulum Centre, et la plage peut parfois être rempli de sargasse cela dépendant de la saison malheureusement."
"If you're looking for a five-star resort with a very natural feel, this is for you. The amenities, restaurants and staff are top notch. Still very equal friendly. It's an adventure, just walking around the property. Unfortunately, the ocean was full seaweed. The resort did have workers there every morning keeping the sand looking pristine."
"I was disappointed with what the hotel had to offer in terms of amenities. Everywhere outside the furniture was in poor condition, with uncomfortable seats, especially on the roof. Unfortunately, the beaches were covered in seaweed, though that is not anybody's fault. Due to the condition of the furniture, we didn't feel comfortable relaxing on the roof terrace, so we didn't swim on the property at all.
The furniture in the rooms themselves were in great condition, however.
The staff was lovely and communicative. The rooms were especially clean, thanks to Griselda.
The QR code entry system sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work. I'm not sure what the difference was. Most of the time we ended up using the key card they provided. "
