“The lodge has a lot of potential and is set in a beautiful, peaceful location that’s perfect for a quiet getaway. “Good breakfast and room in general. Room overlooking the back of the pub/ car park. Because they were 1/2 full they could put us overlooking the back gardens. Very good breakfast. Negatives: Shower with some mold in the seal and some hairs found in the bathroom. No place to put a wash bag due to limited space. Restaurant in the pub dont serve meals on Sunday evenings. Only up to 6pm which is aftenoon. ”

“Room and bathroom newley renovated with lovely linens and fluffy towels provided. It had an ensuite, tea/coffee and kettle, a small fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, table and wardrobe. If you are a light sleeper you might struggle as there was a noise that went off frequently during the night (perhaps related to pub refridgeration or building heating?). Also the roman blinds needed to be put down in the bathroom to use the toilet due to it overlooking the parking space. Otherwise lovely stay and good value...

“My stay was almost excellent. A lovely, clean room with good facilities and a comfy bed. The staff were mostly great - especially in Branfords where the female staff in particular were hardworking, super-friendly and cheerful and in the gym/spa where they were all pleasant and helpful.
