At check in, when we are made aware that a pet will be present our front desk is responsible for ensuring that those guest know the policy for the pets and the designated areas for dogs to defecated.The Manager had witnessed your dog through the window defecating in the area that is not a designated pet area. The designated pet area is by the flagpole and your vehicle was on the opposite side and she was unable to determine exactly why you were headed in the opposite direction without picking up the poop. She walked outside and kindly asked if you had a poop bag. When she spoke with you, you proceeded to tell her that you were getting poop bags from your spouse in the vehicle, which was parked away from the pet area. Once you explained that you did have poop bags, the GM thanked you and immediately returned to the property. We are absolutely pet friendly, but it does take effort to ensure that each guest pick up their pets waste. We want to always ensure that our property is looking its best and not have situations where there is lots of defecation around our property.We are truly sorry if you choose not to return to stay with us.Thank You
