“Our room was typical for a Premier Inn - clean, comfy bed but just provided the basics. The weather during our stay was very hot - rooms are not air conditioned. A fan was provided, but the window was small so not much air circulation. Leaving the window open masde the room noisy from the pub customers and then all night from the adjacent and busy A45.”

I kind of misunderstood where I was going and surprised to realize that this, basically, is a b&b. For a bed for the night, at this price, I would expect a more comfortable bedroom. It was cold. “This was a beautiful property. Unfortunately we arrived very late and didn’t get to spend any daylight hours enjoying to grounds so it was a bit of a waste to us. The restaurant was closed which we were not aware of when we booked. Lovely place if you are planning to use the grounds and enjoy the property .”
