"1. Service was good and room was clean upon arrival. 2. Server Habib gave me good service as well at breakfast time, service with a smile. 3. Restaurant (Kreuken & Bar) looked very cozy and always inviting/, modern, clean. 4. Quiet area from city centre worked well for me and large room worked best for me, and location was good too as it was 1/2 between AMs & City Centre. "

"Location: 9/10. It is very well located if you’re looking a secure and calm location. It takes 10-15 minutes walk to get to the center. The metro and intercity trains stations are very close. Breakfast 10/10. Very well varied buffet and food is very fresh. Facilities: 10/10. The hotel is very clean and cozy. Has a very unique and modern vibe."

"We booked 5 days at Volkhotel to celebrate my partner's PhD submission. This hotel was perfect for the occasion. We could sleep in, have a luxurious buffet breakfast in the 7th floor, enjoy some of the cultural activities and shows, have a break playing some table tennis at Riet, stop for glühwine at the Veerkplats conversation pit, and end the day in the 8th floor sauna! The rooms were spotless, staff were helpful with all of our special requests, and truthfully I'm a little bit sad having to leave home today. We could not have asked for a more relaxing holiday. Thank you so much! "
