โI stayed on the way from Chicago to New York.
I made a reservation because I liked the review and it was a very small hotel, but it was much cleaner and better than I expected because it was upgraded. I'd like to visit again if I have a chance.
Except for the dark lights in the room.^^

โFellow at the desk was awesome. I needed extra pillows (very important to me) and he accommodated. Room was simple but well kept and clean, mostly. As clean as my own home. TV (smallish) and fridge worked. I didnt try the microwave. Shower was a little smaller than I prefer (think phone booth) and the shower head was at my throat level (I am tall) but workable. Toilet is the round type, not elongated as I prefer (too personal to explain why) but workable.

โYoungstown University is the epicenter of Youngstown and the DoubleTree at Youngstown is a shining star. I won't come to visit the university or attend a football game if I can't stay at the Youngstown DoubleTree!โ

The facility is a bit old, but it has cleanliness and condition. It's okay to stay during the trip.
