"This was a modern clean and comfortable room. This had air conditioning which was nice to have. It also had a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. The B units do not have a beach view however the property was located on a very nice beach and also had a nice pool. On the property was a small store and an equipment rental for the beach and ocean. "
"The room was about 100 degrees when we opened the room up and the breeze was warm and humid. The AC took all night to cool the room off. Maintenance said AC was at max. capacity. Shared the room with a cute green lizard too. Not a good start. Nice room but sparce kiktchen."

10/10 Excellent
"The screen doors were torn and off track. The curtains didn’t close all the way. The spa was too expensive. The staff was fantastic! Especially Hunter, Kai, and the two young ladies that gave us wonderful rides on the golf carts. The yoga class was excellent. The air conditioning needed to be cooler as needed, and the bathrooms were WAY too hot. The lady that checked us in and out was great! The pool and hot tub were wonderful."
"Our stay at Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas was truly outstanding from beginning to end. Every member of the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for — from the gentleman who graciously assisted with our luggage, to the incredibly patient and accommodating woman at the front desk, to the friendly and helpful concierge team. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The amenities were fantastic and added so much to the overall experience.
What made this stay especially unique was the genuine warmth and attentiveness of the staff, who consistently went above and beyond in ways that felt personal rather than routine. Combined with the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional accommodations, it created an experience that felt far more special than a typical resort stay. All things considered, this was the nicest and most enjoyable stay we have ever experienced, and we are incredibly grateful for the hospitality we received."
"We were upgraded to a deluxe ocean view room. The room and premises were gorgeous. Staff including the cultural activities were top notch we took full advantage of the pool area and water slides. The biggest inconvenience was trying to find a couple of chairs to relax and to keep our stuff while enjoying the pool. So many people reserve seats and don’t use the chairs. It was incredibly frustrating. I knew this from reading the reviews ahead of time and it was still frustrating as we tried to get an early start our second day and were still late to grab chairs. The adult pool is less crowded. "
"What a fantastic hotel! I travelled to Maui with my husband and two children aged 5 & 8. Upton arrival the valet helped with our bags, gave the children and us gorgeous necklaces and check-in was quick! I didn’t like that the room we received was such a stretch to walk to so came back and the really helpful manager, despite being almost at full capacity moved us to a higher room category with a beautiful partial ocean view. Whilst we were there there was rain on and off but the hotel made sure the grounds were scrupulous. We were out exploring a lot but when in the hotel the children loved the soft beach, the pools (they must have gone on the slide 50 times) and making friends with other children. There were art classes on for the children and I got to try my hand at painting turtles and making glass art too! Room service was efficient and the rooms were turned down each day and left so neatly. I love that the Fairmont provide re-usable bottles for the guests vs plastic and there are ice and water dispensers all over the property. You can self park or valet- it’s refreshing that a resort doesn’t charge separate parking fees to self park vs the other four hotels we visited over this trip! I would recommend it fully for those with kids, and those wanting gorgeous suites with space! We would absolutely book here again! Thank you Fairmont your staff were so helpful and made our stay just perfect!"
"This is an older but clean property. While it could benefit from some updating, it is well kept. It reminded me of the 1980s in many ways, but that also reflects the reasonable cost. Easy access to the beach. Near many great facilities and quiet. The staff including front desk, cleaning crew, and grounds people were nice."
