โHotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach. Breakfast is amazing and staff friendly and helpful. Our economy room is small but had what we needed for our 3 night stay. Excellent value with free parking as well โ
โThere is nothing not to like bout st george hotel i booked it for me and the missus and the baby and we had a spacious room with a baby cot in the room fresh towls everyday we was there and room was very clean and tidy โ
โWe stayed at this hotel for one night in August, the room was lovely and comfortable and they were able to accommodate our 2 children on Z-Beds in the same room- this was very much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, lovely ladies serving the breakfast too.
The swimming pool is such a lovely addition, heated to a nice temperature. We will definitely be coming back! โ
โFound this to be an excellent choice of hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were big and comfortable. Loved having pillow choices. Pool/sauna/steam room a bonus. There was a good range and choice of food and drink options. Buffet style breakfast, lots of choice. Had evening meal in restaurant, excellent. Definitely will stay again.โ
โThe communication from the hotel was excellent, and accessing the room later in the day via the key box was no problem at all. The location is greatโjust a short walk to the beach and shops. The room was clean, though definitely a bit tired. The carpets were grubby, and the wallpaper could use some attention. Still, for the price, it was perfectly adequate.
Itโs unclear whether rooms are let on a longer-term basis, but it seemed that way. Sadly, our neighbour was audibly upset and sobbed...
โArrived with a very tired stroppy toddler and the receptionist was so helpful letting us check in once he was settled, let us access the room then check in
