"Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof"

"The property is in a rural like setting yet is only minutes away from Partenkirchen. There is a beautiful lake to sit outside and enjoy as well as a walking path around the lake. The breakfast and dinner buffets were huge and had so many choices to eat. The food was very good. There are several lounge areas both inside and outside to sit around and relax. Parking onsite.
