โMy husband and I travel all around the world. We decided to celebrate his milestone birthday and retirement at The Ivy, which had been on our bucket list for a while. My goodness! It's the best hotel we've ever visited. If there were such a thing as a six star hotel, this would be it. The rooms, the luxurious touches, the service, the thoughtful design, the food, the ammenities--all perfection. No detail was overlooked. Everyone on the staff greeted us by name. Their car service was able to take...
โWe really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ulysses. The staff was very helpful, the room comfortable and the location was perfect - a short walk from Penn Station and to the inner harbor. Would stay here again!โ
โGreat location and a very nice staff. Cute boutique hotel. The room is nice and the bed is comfy. Be prepared to pay $60 per night for valet parking at the hotel...which is steep. The sign outside the hotel notes $50 for parking however they add 20% tax on top of that, which is extreme and likely not passed on to the valet as a tip, so you tip..on top of that too. If you only travel with an overnight bag, it's definitely worth finding another garage/lot in the area, which would save you some...
โLoved the location, vibe, decor, courtyard, property, breakfast, cookies, tea, music.
Didnโt love fenced off walkway, smelly bushes in courtyard, broken door on bathroom.
Pros WAY exceeded the cons.โ
โWe truly enjoyed our stay and would chose to stay there again. Our only advice is to please have some free coffee available in the lobby, an try to improve the breakfast at the restaurant on site - that was not a good experience (actually was a pretty bad experience) on what is an otherwise superb hotel!โ
