"Th room was clean and good for the price. The shower was only warm. The room photo in the booking app wasn’t the same as we were given. When I questioned the room allotted I was told that it wasn’t the correct room photo. I had taken a snap of the room I booked and when I showed the receptionist she said we could change rooms the next day. The area isn’t the greatest but we knew that and it was close to where we needed to be for a sports event. However we were not expecting a police raid on a nearby room at 6am, which was quite unsettling. Nothing from the staff, no apology! Reception closed at 5pm and, as we were checking out early the next morning, I went to ask about where to leave the key..the door was open but nobody in sight..it was before 5pm. "

"The room was old and unclean. Hair on the floor, a mouldy rubber bath mat and the bathroom cupboard wouldn't open. I had to use my comb to push it open to get to the hair dryer. "

"Checking into this hotel, I had to walk my children through a bar of people drinking and staff using inappropriate language communicating with what seemed to be locals that drink there everyday. Checking into our rooms the floor was dirty and the smell in both rooms was off putting. The blankets were not covered and when removing the sheets on top of the blankets there was urine stains all over the blankets and mattresses. My son and daughter both had hair on their sheets and pillows. There was rubbish and used water bottles in the hotel cupboards and floor behind the bed. The shared bathrooms on the floor were dirty and old, privacy was absolute zero. Car park was closed from 3am-10am so getting our vehicle out of the car park meant we had to drag a heavy fence (not meant to be manually opened) so we could drive out in the morning to get to where we needed to be. Staff advised us around opening the fence. It felt very unsafe for my kids and family but the manager did refund us a room and was professional when speaking with him around my concerns."
