“The room was fantastic with a bay window high up overlooking the street. It was well furnished with a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the bathroom which was 'compact' (not really a problem) but the shower did not work well in that that it never got beyond just above cold and had a miserable trickle of water. We spoke to staff before leaving and they were appalled that this had happened and were going to get it looked at. Overall, very happy to stay...

“2 minutes from Alnwick Playhouse with cinema, cafe and tourist centre information. 5 minutes from Alnwick Gardens & Castle and Barter Books. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Across the road from bus stop coastal route to Berwick on Tweed & Newcastle via coastal towns and villages. 20 mins bus ride away from Alnmouth station with trains to Berwick and Edinburgh. I had a wonderful week there. ”

“The property is an 18th century coach house so don’t expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all.”

“Brilliant pub with rooms. The room i stayed in was huge, with a lovely large bathroom and sofa/tv area. More like a suite than a double room. There is a very good food menu and the restaurant also offers takeaway. They were completely dog friendly, not just "dogs allowed", making sure her every need is met. They were very trusting with guests, allowing us to walk through the bar area after closing, to enter or exit the property. Super clean”
