Overall, it was a lovely stay. We did arrive earlier than the check in time of 4pm, and while they had rooms available, there was an additional $25 charge. Our room was on the third floor and overall quiet and accessible. I would say, the couch in the living space could have been cleaner, but everything in the bedroom was good condition and clean. The hotel staff was very helpful through text message interactions I had with the front desk. The pool on the 2nd floor was perfect for our 5 year old to get some energy out. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast choices, with a make your own omelette station and plenty of other choices from potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and cold and hot cereal options along with fruit. The evening snacks were very basic, chips, fritos, goldfish, M&M's and fruit, but were perfect before dinner. While it was a bit of a walk, everything was walkable in about 20ish minutes. Our family visited the National Mall, including the American History Museum, Washington Monument, WWII Memorial and more and had no problems walking there. The staff was very friendly, particularly those at the valet station. They were helpful and quick to get our car when we needed it. However, the valet option was pricey, it was $57 per night, we probably could have parked at another garage for a fraction of the price. Overall, our family of 5 was happy with our choice to stay at the Embassy Suites and would recommend it to anyone looking to visit the DC area.

Hotel was clean and good. Breakfast would have been handled in more efficient way. Team was not able to handle the load and place is not good enough when it is rush on peak hours. Food refilling should happen immediately with no delay. Plates are not enough to serve the people at one time. We booked 2 beds and the day we went to check in the staff said they don’t have two bed and they gave us kind bed with one sofa bed. They said, it is first come first full basis for Expedia customers, not sure what does that mean… not happy with that arrangement
