โBooked this hotel for a weekend due to location to Watkin Path. Staff so kind & helpful, Rooms clean & tidy with ensuite bathrooms including baths in two out of 3 rooms booked. Use of lift to rooms. Breakfast selection plentiful and hot, evening meals superb & well priced. โGreat stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! โNice clean room, friendly staff and tasty food. Itโs a long walk from the train station and taxis generally finish servicing around 7 pm latest, so itโs more convenient to drive. โ
โWell portioned for easy access to all travel and walking. Stunning views of surrounding mountains. However the village seemed abit run down and dinning opportunities limited. We would suggest the Royal Sportsman hotel for dinning. As we have visited it before and the food and service was excellent. โ
โWe stayed a week and the house was exactly as described - very clean and of a decent size. There is a full kitchen, even though some of the pots and pans are a bit old. I liked how we could adjust the heating to our comfort. The host was very kind on the two occasions we met her. Overall, good value.โ
