“Lovely property, very comfortable and well equipped. Nice chill out areas after days walk. Only problem was not being to use the garden terrace as it didn't stop raining. Handy for Snowdon, and the Sherpa bus route”
“It's a shame that there are some downsides to the cottage, otherwise it would be the ideal place to stay. It has a reasonable kitchen, a lounge area big enough for two, a nice bathroom and shower, convenient parking right outside for one car and a very effective towel rail, although to make it work, the entire heating system had to be on, and with no thermostat in the bedroom (during my stay), it soon became far too hot.
Unfortunately, there are quite a few shortcomings; there was no shaver...
“Our grandson said everything especially his mezzanine bedroom was amazing !
And for us the cabana suite its location and view, everything spotlessly clean.
The whole of the park and facilities, we will recommend to all our friends.”
“The hotel is unlike anywhere I've ever stayed. It's a HUGE mansion that looks stunning when pulling up the drive, but then you notice some of the windows boarded up. However, for those want to stay somewhere VERY unusual and is up for a little adventure, then this Glynllifon is one of the most interesting and quirky places to stay. It's far from a 4-star hotel - but with significant investment, it could easily become one of the best hotels in the UK and therefore command significantly higher...
“Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the...
“A home away from home. Second year we’ve been here and it is perfect!
The views are to die for, Carrie and Mike are phenomenal hosts and the rooms are huge, clean and have everything you need.”
“Simply beautiful, staff could not do enough to help, check in was easy and quick. Stunning location and a small village a short stroll away. Room was clean and adequate with all tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is continental with other options available to purchase. We had a full Welsh breakfast and avocado on toast and it was amazing. All topped off with stunning views would definitely recommend and visit again.”
“The room was clean and the bed was comfy but very noisy from outside . Seagulls, children’s play area, early morning deliveries. The food was awful, undercooked chips with a shepherds pie thing and peas that had seen better days. We had a meal deal so after being forgotten about and waited for a long time, I asked about the desserts. They were no better and I couldn’t eat it. So we didn’t eat here again. Food and drink cheaper and better at other places. If you want a quiet stay without carb on...
“Lovely gardens. Great location to walk Snowdon or get the train.
Particularly wonderful food, bravo to the team.
Room we stayed in was a box room, absolutely tiny, and the toilet/shower room was not a full arms width from side to side, and for a big lad that was most uncomfortable.
The window in our room opened about an inch then fell back closed again, so no air was able to get in or out of a stiflingly hot room.
We noticed other rooms did have windows that opened a lot, note to self!!!
For...
“Everything we needed and ideal, jus a little on the noisy side from creaking beds, doors, and others roaming late and early.. otherwise would’ve been perfect ”
