"I liked that the motel was small, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also comparatively affordable. They are doing an upgrade, which would be good.
Bed was quite comfortable.
Crosby’s Kitchen was across the street. Also a Mexican restaurant and a gyro shop were close.
Caldwell was not far away. "

"This is not a hotel option to pass on. The hotel is close to transit so getting to downtown and to a Cubs game is easy to do. There are alsom many dining and options and small uniqure shops along Clark and Broadway."
"Picked this place because it had on-site parking. My wife is disabled. Couple days before trip got email saying on street parking only - first come. Chicago has notorious bad parking. After complaining 2x ( had to park 3 blocks away) was able to park in back of building. Host ignored all communication after that.
Property was clean but no numbers on doors and outside doors constantly left open. Felt unsafe. Code lock on door didnt work normally most times. Had to use key to secure door after lock would mysteriously open while leaving.
Toilet is installed crooked leaving no room on left side. Had to sit sideways on cheap seat. NO CLOSET SPACE. NO DRESSERS. NO WHERE TO HANG CLOTHES. Had to live out of suitcases. NO COFFEE POT. Top sheet was a twin sheet on a Queen Bed. Towels were dingy with stain on them. Bought coffee pot, sheets and towels to use. NO INSTRUCTIONS in unit on how to access internet. Change left in unit for community washer/ Dryer was pennies and nickels. Needs end or coffee table in front room. TV had no local programming. It only worked if you had your own Netflix or Amazon Prime account to login. Still no local news etc.
Didn't feel i got my moneys worth on this higher priced unit."
