Clarion Hotel Post, Gothenburg

"Magnificent, imposing converted post office on the main square facing the central station. Clean, great breakfast spread and cheerful staff. Can walk to loads, but trams & buses stop in square. Standard of our room excellent. One downside was 1st night we were facing square just above hotel entrance, which contained a music speaker that transmitted a thump thump thump base into our room. Staff, particularly Amin, arranged a new room for the rest of our stay. It was perfect. Andrew UK"

"Rooms clean tidy although compact but suited us as we only stayed one night. Didn’t like that you had to pay for use of pool though,but all in all good stay ."

"Well located hotel, lovely checkin experience with Simon. Hotel restaurant was great, gym and sauna a good size and modern equipment. Bed was comfortable, bathroom a good size and the hotel was quiet despite being on top of the railway station. Definitely would recommend staying here."

Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel

"If you need a wonderful room, great dining options, amazing breakfast and good service... the Grand Curiosa ticks all the boxes. The BONUS is the interesting spaces, fun features (including 2 story corkscrew slide) and interesting decor. We don't have kids, but loved watching young people wonder at the place. Even my wife and I (in our 60's) did the slide. The Grand Curiosa makes you feel like a kid again. On top of that, we got free entry (after 6pm) to the park to see what was thrilling everyone to scream and laugh. Back in our room, all was quiet and comfortable. A fun place - a MUST see destination."
