Farmland on the two degrees west meridian, Chitterne As best I could judge using map and compass, this is a view due north along the two degrees west meridian, the only line of longitude that exactly coincides with a national gridline. Having checked on Google Earth, I am about 15 metres out; the gridline is that bit further west from the viewpoint.
