"The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very nice. We used the pool and jacuzzi which we found to be well maintained and as we would have wanted. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner although the service at breakfast was disappointing as our coffee was forgotten. All in all a very pleasant stay (our two sons were playing in the PGA golf competition) and the course was beautiful."

Truly- a very surprisingly unfriendly experience. But loved the hotel!"

The only thing that lets it down is the extortionate cost for parking...way beyond anywhere else in Bath! "A fantastic stay- so good we wished we had booked for longer. The building is beautiful and has so much character. Staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and spacious - a rare treat on our trip! The beds were comfortable and the towel warmer in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The layout of the hotel was fine for us- but may be an issue for someone with mobility issues as even though there was a lift for some of the rooms our room still required a series of stairs. The hotel itself is up a fairly steep hill in Bath. But a taxi from the train station was only £10. We also used the bus to get back to our hotel in the evening. We will definitely book here again when we return to Bath."
