“Great location, very clean, staff are lovely, would definitely stay again”

“Lovely location. Could do with a little tidy up. Rooms are lovely but corridors carpets and paintwork in the coach house could do with a make over. Left over cigarette buts on outside of property together with leftover beer bottles!”

“Very hotel in some deeper and in much need of updating albeit some work was happening as floors were up but nothing warned of or briefed Room was basic, tv did not work, staff knew but declined to mention it or offer any fix or assistance. Complaints department details requested on check out and was told ‘someone would be jn touch’. They haven’t. Still. Pretty disappointing in all.”

“The place was great. The only thing was the shower. The shower was great but there is no place to put you change of clothes while showering. There needs to be more, larger hooks.”

“Everything about this charming countryside retreat was what we hoped for and more. The staff was a welcoming and alsways there to help. The food was delicious and better than we expected. Our room generously sized, modern and comfortably appointed. (We did request a fan though as there’s no air conditioning, and the staff was quick to oblige.) “The staff are lovely, and the property and gardens are beautiful (although they’re not quite as new or updated as the photos make it seem). It’s more of a charming quiet calm hotel in the countryside. My only issue was that the carpet had tons of large stains on it, which was rather gross and I’d expect a hotel to have a vacuum cleaner that can take stains out of the carpet. “Very pretty property, with a great view. A little distance from the city center, but they run a most friendly and flexible shuttle into town that works great, very good idea and a very commendable effort. Breakfast is good. We had a large room (2 adults 2 kids) very spacious. Some aspects of maintenance could be improved, but it is always a challenge with these country homes, they have the charm, but not everything is impecable. A little on the expensive side, but reasonable. Great parking.”
