“2019년 8월에 호텔스닷컴을 통하여 배던하우스를 예약하고 가족여행을 다녀왔습니다. 방과 서비스 자체는 나쁘지 않았습니다. 체크인 당시 숙박료를 전액 파운드화로 현금 결재 후, 이미 호텔스닷컴을 통해 승인된 신용카드 결제 취소를 요청하였습니다. 현금결제를 하고 영수증을 달라고 하자 직원이 나중에 작성해서 준다고 했습니다. 나중에 결국 영수증을 받긴 했지만, 현금결제한 경우 영수증을 주는 당연한 절차에 준비가 안되어 있어 짜임새있는 숙소는 아니라고 생각이 들었습니다. 데스크 직원이 카드 취소를 하겠다고 해서 큰 의심없이 기다렸습니다. 그런데 한국으로 귀국후 신용카드 내역을 확인해보니 1방의 1박 요금이 취소되지 않아 (총 방 2개를 2박 예약하였습니다) 호텔스닷컴 콜센터를 통해 배던하우스에 취소 요청을 하였습니다. 그 과정에서 배던하우스는 제가 보낸 여러개의 이메일에 대하여도 답장하지 않고, 호텔스닷컴 콜센터가 전화하면 (이마저도 저녁에는 호텔직원이 근무하지 않아 전화를...

“The family that run this property are utterly wonderful. We had a very comfortable bed with beautiful views and were quite sad to leave. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here. ”

“호텔 내부가 매우 고급스럽고 편안했습니다. 역사적인 건물에서 숙박 할 수 있다는 것이 정말 행운이라고 생각합니다. 방 한가운데 걸린 샹들리에는 사랑스러운 분위기를 만들었고, 침구는 굉장히 포근했습니다. 3명이라 쇼파베드를 사용했는데 크게 불편하지 않았습니다. 욕실도 정말 만족스러웠습니다. 스파 지역라서 그런지 물도 좋은거 같았어요! 피부도 미끈해지는거 같았어요. 조식 중 컨티넨탈은 가지수가 적었지만 요리와 함께 먹으면 적당했습니다. 맛있어요:) roman bath, bath abbey는 10분정도 거리였고, 거리 끝에 있는(2분거리) 미술관도 너무 좋았어요! ** 처음에 갔던 방에는 하수구?냄새가 나서 방을 바꿔달라고 해서 다른 방으로 갔는데 냄새가 나지 않아서 다행이었습니다. “All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience.”

“Superb hotel. Very clean, modern and excellent facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool, steam room and sauna clean and modern. Paid extra for breakfast which was plentiful and good quality, and comparable price wise for breakfast found locally. Good location. Around 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk into the centre. Definitely recommended and would stay again. ”

“렌트카를 주차 할 공간이 있어 좋았음! 새로온 직원 때문에 이래저래 불편한 점들이 있었으나 매니저가 잘 대응해줘서 좋았음. 영국식 아침 식사를 맛볼 수 있어서 너무 좋았음! 바스에 머문다면 좋은 곳! ”

“친절한 리셉션 직원, 조식 포함된 만족스러운 가격, 아침식사 메뉴가 다양하진 않지만, 음식을 포장해 갈 수 있어 유용했어요. 방은 좁지만 필요한 모든것이 구비되어 있었고, 로얄 크레센트까지 도보 접근 가능했어요. (참고로 저희가 숙박했던 방은 창문을 열면 묘지 뷰였어요) 전반적으로 만족했습니다!”
