“Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend”

“Breakfast was very good, but parking was a nightmare. Information said the railway station was open until 19.30 .. we went to look ... 18.00! There is nowhere to drop off bags etc. abd my eife uses a mobility scooter, so, we would not be able to get anything to eat in the evening. I had to carry our case from the railway station and dusmantlr the scotter and made several trips up stairs to store it in the very small room, then, carry it downstairs again to go out. “Parking was easy and secure, staff friendly. Rooms basic and a little dated. but overall value for money. This is well run hotel, with good potential. Sadly the local area is clearly struggling, for once what was a busy bustling hight street is now a ghost town. ”

“Lots of parking. The waitress at breakfast was great and couldn't do enough for me. I stayed 2 nights, 1st breakfast perfectly cooked, the 2nd breakfast not so great. Prices are about right The room was big, clean light and airy with good facilities. Definitely an above average establishment. I would definitely re visit.”

“Everything and everyone at The Baiting House is almost perfect. The hot tub was clean and hot, the lodge was clean but too warm! The bed comfy and the facilities adequate. Could have done with a little more privacy around the hot tub. Some people were walking their dog off lead and it wasn’t controlled and worried our dog but other than that all was good. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was delicious. Could not have asked for better. Will be returning as soon as possible! ”

“The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! ”
