"Great location,nice hotel, rooms a little outdated but overall pleasant stay "

"I stayed here for a few days with my newborn and teenager after a long drive, and it exceeded every expectation. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early without hassle, which was such a relief as a postpartum mom. This was our first trip with baby so anxiety was high! The room was spotless with fresh linens and zero sketchy stains (which I’ve sadly seen at more expensive, popular chain hotels). The shower water pressure was amazing! They have a full kitchen and a laundry room which made traveling with a baby so much easier. The hotel is also in a great location, walking distance to everything from Whole Foods and Target to late night eats like pizza and wings and there’s our favorite latte addiction on the corner if you’re Starbies girl like me. On the flip side there was a faint humid smell in the rooms which is likely due to the climate, but it was easy to overlook. Overall, the environment felt safe, peaceful, and well-maintained. Bonus points for the underground parking with two spots per pass ANDDD street parking if you opt out! Highly, highly, highly, recommend for families, staycations, or anyone needing a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay. There’s also an onsite bar that we were able to enjoy for their soft opening. They are opening the restaurant some time in the future and whenever we are in the area we will certainly be returning to this location! Thank you all who welcomed our large party too! "

"My only complaints are: There was what appeared to be some sort of vomit or maybe food on the rug in our room. The rugs/carpet in general could use a cleaning or replacing. The pool could be open a bit longer. It closes at sunset. They also need a blender to make blended drinks! The staff is amazing. They are polite, professional, friendly, and eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible. From the concierge, valet, kitchen staff, and cleaning crew to the bartender and spa staff. They truly make your stay top notch. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The resort is very close to the ocean, though the photos are a bit misleading since they make it look like you just go out the door onto the beach. It’s about a mile walk to get there. The massage therapist was amazing. They bring everything to your room and tailor the massage to your preferences. The deep tissue massage was exactly what I needed. I would definitely stay again! "

"The staff were excellent, especially the breakfast team—everyone was exceptionally courteous, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and very good with a lot of variety. A big shoutout to both the breakfast crew and the housekeeping staff for going above and beyond to make this stay truly outstanding! Would highly recommend to friends, family, or anyone looking for an excellent option to stay at Santa Monica. "

"This was one of the most amazing hotel stays I have had in a while. From the complimentary upgrade, chauffeur service, to the delicious prefix lunch at the fabulous restaurant, everything was great. That was a choice of pillows, so I was able to find the right one for me. The area was very walkable with restaurants and stores on the beach close by. I also use one of the beach bikes to ride along the beach. I will definitely be back and highly recommended this hotel. "
