“This is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot. Everything was amazing! The only downside is no elevator so you have to get your luggage up the stairs.”

“This hotel was very close to downtown Sonoma. We could walk to restaurants, wineries, and the farmers market on Tuesday. This hotel also brings wineries in for wine tasting too. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They even had a tub! Loved staying here. ”

“The Highland Dell was an enjoyable stay for us. Our room, 102, was interesting. There was no thermometer setting available but I assume it was because it was certified as Green and all rooms were monitored as a whole. Room was relatively small but very clean. No closet, bathroom consisted of a toilet and shower. Sink, mirror, hairdryer were in bedroom area. Walking from the bed to the bathroom was literally down hill. Floor not level but not an insurmountable problem, just interesting. Dinner...

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and used it as a base for exploring Napa, Sonoma and the surrounding area. We arrived after the usual check in time, but the hotel provided us with clear instructions on how to get in and registration happened the next day. The daily breakfasts were delicious, with alternatives made for those with dietary requirements. The regular wine and cheese happy hour between 5pm and 6pm is an added bonus. Perfect location for walking into Downtown Napa, but far enough...

“Fantastic location! Great views of the garden area and ocean. We stayed at the JD house in the queen room with a view. The room is small and there is nowhere to store luggage or your clothing aside from a small hanging area. The tub is listed as a soaking tub only so if you are hoping the jets in the tub work, they won’t. They have been turned off likely to prevent noise disturbances to your neighbors. It is walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants and walking paths to views...

“1801 is a great place to stay. We stayed in the separate Carriage House cottage. It was well appointed and a delightful stay. The room is great and has a fireplace between the bedroom and bathroom, and has a lovely outdoor patio. The owner was fantastic and has a wine tatting every evening at 5:30. Breakfast was delicious and you are well cared for. We'll definitely stay here again when we return. ”
