Top Writers' Museum Hotel Reviews

Motel One Edinburgh-Royal

8/10 Good

"Good location, but very loud at night."

ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile

10/10 Excellent

"Unfortunately the windows dont open, so you will have to use the split air conditioner which is a bit tricky to just get the fan as AC was unnecessary during my time of trip. Very helpful staff, very nice bar and restaurant with friendly servers. Perfectly located in Edinburgh to see whatever you want to see!"

YOTEL Edinburgh, Select by Hilton

8/10 Good

"We were three lady friends staying in a room together and found the bathroom/toilet didn’t have any privacy, frosted glass doors and walls and all open plan."

Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile

8/10 Good

"Great location, quiet, and easy check-in. The staff were polite and professional. The stay was pretty pricey but it's Edinburgh. I would stay again if I were to return."

Stay Central

8/10 Good

"My husband and I enjoyed staying at Stay Central. It was in a great location, about a 5 minute walk from the Royal Mile. My only complaint is that when I asked for more pillows (there were 4 in the room), they said they ran out and none were available. Given this is a 4 star hotel, I find that a bit off and disappointing. Other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful"

Virgin Hotels Edinburgh

10/10 Excellent

"All was excellent! So clean and charming. Excellent location. Staff is very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Would recommend."

Market Street Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent location"

The Hoxton, Edinburgh

10/10 Excellent

"Loved that these are historical old town homes. Very charming. Easy walk to a main tram line to get into Old Town in just a few minutes. Mini M&S just by the Haymarket station and a larger full M&S just a few minutes away."
