Добротный олдскульный отель в центре, парк через дорогу. Номера нормальные, красивое лобби, еда в ресторанах тоже вполне себе вкусная, но дороговато. Цена за номер вполне адекватна, вернемся еще.

The hotel is located next to a big lagoon which is perfect for running. It is surrounded with trees, looks and feels exotic. One of the best features of this hotel is how friendly and accommodating the staffs are. We arrived late and our room was ready with the air-conditioning on and a tea sachet with a sweet note from the room service staff. We have to leave very early to catch an early flight and the breakfast was ready as they promised. They have good selection of food and everything was perfectly delivered.

Great View of the Shwedagon Pagoda
Beautiful hotel, but of course, my impression was coloured by the fact that they upgraded me to a Club Level room on the top floor with marvellous views of the Shwedagon Pagoda lit up at night. How could I not be happy? Excellent value for money even had I not gotten the upgrade. A copious buffet breakfast was included in the price and staff were delightful. Swimming pool was enormous and surrounded by swaying palms. Pity I was only overnighting ...

Our stay was WONDERFUL... until it WASN'T. We stayed on the club level floor and only ate at the hotel. In fact, we didn't even leave the property. On day 2, we both got violently ill. I'll spare you the details, but it was both of us, and it was BAD! It was definitely food poisoning, and, as mentioned, we had only eaten at the hotel. In the middle of the night, I could actually hear the man in the room next door throwing up as well. Worst night ever. We called the front desk, and they brought more toilet paper and anti-diarrheal meds... but no apology, and they never checked in with us again. The next day (and it was a lllloooonnnggg night taking turns in the bathroom), my partner stumbled up to the executive level desk to ask for a late checkout since we literally could barely move. Although they did (eventually) grant it, there was no sympathy, reaction, apology, or concern whatsoever. Highly disappointing on even a human level let alone a "5 star hotel" level. I would never recommend staying here not only based on the fact that we got food poisoning, but even more on the fact that they knew and didn't try to help in any way, shape, or form.

Professional. cheerful service, amazing value for money, great location and what has to be the best breakfast array humanly possible. I highly recommend this hotel. the only 'buts' are the mattress was a bit lumpy considering everything else was to the highest standard, and the costs of the a la carte on-site dining is rather high compared to excellent Myanmar restaurants. Buffet prices, though, are not exorbitant. Nonetheless if your currency is USD it might seem more than reasonable.

At the beginning of my trip to Myanmar I spent 10 days at the Chatrium it was so good I decided to end my trip with three more days at the Chatrium. Great amenities, fantastic pool, beautifully appointed hotel, great location, excellent buffet breakfast. But the service staff is the best!!

This is a huge hotel that is a bit out of the way. The rooms are decent and are being upgraded so they will be even better. The restaurants are only OK, there aren’t many vegetarian options to be had here. This is also a hotel that is really set up for large tour groups. The one thing that is stellar is the pool. Really outstanding. But this hotel is a bit out of the way of most attractions. Not bad for one night in and out of the city on your way to other parts of Myanmar but not the best for a solo traveler.

This hotel is beautifully appointed the rooms are spacious the entire staff from check in to check out were friendly. The patio bar and grill is beautiful with fantastic views, the pool setting surrounded by palm trees is so relaxing after a day of touring. The location is excellent easy walk to the huge temple complex and shuttle service to downtown. The staff is what I remember most Gary and Danny at the cafe and Nolan at the breakfast room went the extra mile. have stayed at this hotel five times and it just gets better. I will return after a week of touring to end my trip with four daysAt the excellent hotel.

This hotel is set in lush greenery and is located near to a lake. Very ideal for families because its away from the hustle n bustle of the city but not too far. The breakfast spread is very good and the seafood buffet dinner is superb. The staff is friendly n attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend this hotel. You will not regret it.

Lovely hotel, but events and music way too loud
It was a beautiful hotel with lots of comfortable options to relax during the day in shared spaces. However, 3 of the 4 days I was there, they set up for private events (an anniversary party, birthday, and another event) in the one open shared space --- the porch and pool area --- and the set-up and loud music really took over that entire area between around 4-10pm all three times. The other disappointment was that even from the restaurant porches, the blasting sound made the whole outdoor area less than enjoyable --- and I could hardly read in my hotel room even with the windows closed due to that sound! I visit Yangon frequently and this was such a nice hotel; but, I would suggest it hold those private events in private rooms and leave the open space there for the rest of us who have paid to stay. I'd be hesistant to recommend for that reason alone.

Very high standard of rooms though we did get a free upgrade as there were no double beds remaining in the standard rooms. Very nice choice at breakfast with some great touches. Location is a bit 'out of town' though the free shuttle was a nice consideration and anyway as taxi prices are very low, it did not really pose much of a problem.

The hotel faces Kandawgyi Lake and is only separated by a road; impressive views of the lake and Shwedagon Paya in the distance. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus service which is a huge plus for tourists.

lovely stay
Excellent stay! We spent most of our holiday touring/cycling Myanmar so wanted 2 nights of luxury as a treat for the end of the holiday. We had a fabulous 2 nights, excellent room with a view of the Lake and Stupa. We used the free shuttle into Yangon but walked back, just over 3 miles so a great location if you like to walk. The restaurant ONYX just around the corner was fabulous too if you fancy a night out of the hotel.

Location, Location, Location !!! Having a shuttle service four times a day to downtown is very convenient, especially in Yangon traffic.
