Pool, jacuzzi and sauna very well kept, lovely bar service nice and friendly and food was lovely. Comfy bed and soft pillows. We had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted, we would definitely stay here again, nice and relaxing overnight stay.”

“Stayed here for Cardiff Half marathon. From the management, to the staff at reception and morning of the race - the restaurant staff, they all made my experience fantastic and seamless. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely hotel and highly recommended.”

“Always stay here, friendly staff”

“Unfortunately this hotel has become a haven for dog owners which is ok if you own a dog. The room we got allocated on arrival smelled of wet dog and I immediately went to reception to get a change of room. We got a new room which was slightly better but every floor had dogs staying in rooms. Unfortunately although I have owned dogs in the past it isn’t for me and will not be staying again.”

“very clean and kind”

“Delicious breakfast, very friendly helpful staff. Comfy bed, great shower”

“The wifi was down the entire stay, very disappointed.”

“Easy to find hotel and good check in. Room was pretty clean although the bathroom could do with an update. The grouting and tiles on the floor around the toilet need refreshing as it smelt of urine when in the toilet cubicle. We had a twin room with two doubles and they were really comfy with great pillows. The room was really hot and hard to balance using air con as it then became too cold. I would stay here again if needed.”

“Didn’t like being allocated a room for the disabled with an adjoining door, on the ground floor. Not what we paid for. Were then offered an attic room with a skylight type window, you couldn’t see out and it was dark. They then managed to jiggle things around and we had a decent room, the sort we expected. Didn’t use most of the facilities as we were there for a wedding near by but we did eat in the bar area. Food menu was limited and so were the cocktail choices. Don’t know about the restaurant...

“We had a great stay at the priory, room was a perfect size, I enjoyed a soak in the beautiful claw foot bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying there again”
