โJack was a lovely host, very helpful, especially with suitcase carrying to & from the room. Snacks etc. always available on a help yourself basis. Good local knowledge regarding places to visit. Kindly lent us some season tickets to various tourist attractions at no cost to us. Highly recommended venue and host.โ

Our room was clean and spacious. Space to chill in room after a day exploring.
Didn't have breakfast at the hotel as really felt ยฃ30 per person was far too expensive.

โThe hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isnโt too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.โ

โGreat stay at ibis style york. minute walk from train station. Wetherspoon and grene king nearby. 10minute walk into city. Clean, comfortable and friendly ๐ we will definitely be back as it ticked all our boxes. Only negative is very limited parking. We didnt need parking but we did check it out and decided we were sensible coming by train.โ
