Belle Isle Adults Only Vacations

This hotel has such a fun vintage vibe, staff is incredibly friendly, location is a perfect downtown location that makes most of the city feel very accessible and the valet parking is very efficient with very friendly staff. The onsite coffee shop makes great drinks and is very convenient. Amenities in the rooms are pretty bare bones so that is the only negative I found. I would definitely stay here again.

Racism abounds!! The front desk staff were only too eager to place my husband and I in inferior rooms when we arrived. I had to aggressively self advocate as a woman of colour (and the one paying the tab!) for a room on the top floor! The hotel decor is nice but dated… lots of dark browns and beiges…. The cafe front staff was disrespectful and condescending. We waited more than five minutes to be acknowledged. They whispered to each other for a couple minutes then without even a “good day” one of them said “come with me”. The entire town was like this… I was happy when we were across the border and back in Canada!

Incredible room, facilities we’re excellent, plus the reception were more than accommodating with a later than anticipated check-in thanks to the brilliance of TSA at LaGuardia Airport. Will definitely come back again as a beautiful place to stay.

OMG this place is the BEST!! Food options are amazing. Try the drinks, salad, onion soup at Le Suprême. Explore the whole joint…rooftop, gym, lounges on 2 and 14. Easy walk to all sports venues. Friendly, helpful. I could live here and some do!
