Tourist Corridor Beach Vacations

We stayed at Hacienda Encantada on a last-minute reservation because our home nearby was being repaired. We live in Cabo and regularly spend weekends at local resorts, so we have many properties to compare it with. A hurricane was nearby but forecast to miss Cabo, and understandably the hotel was prepared. As Expedia VIP guests, we were offered a higher-floor room with a better view, but it had already been storm-prepped with fabric covering the windows and all patio furniture stacked inside. Since it was only one night, we simply went outside to enjoy the views. The resort has great views of the Cabo corridor, a large property to explore, and some nice areas for kids. Where it fell short was in the details. We were told locals receive a restaurant discount, but received three different answers during our meals, with only one restaurant honoring it. Food and drinks were average, and overall the resort felt more basic than refined. With so many excellent resort options in Cabo, this isn't one our family would choose to return to.

The property was very well maintained, the views were absolutely stunning, and the entire atmosphere made it easy to unwind and enjoy our vacation. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always made us feel taken care of. We really enjoyed the pools, the food, and the overall service throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and clean, and waking up in such a beautiful setting every day was definitely a highlight. Overall, we had an amazing experience and made some great memories here. We would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas and would love to come back again!
