The Altitude tower had an amazing view of the ocean! The room was spacious and comfortable and nicely appointed. It would have been nice to have a proper table and chairs to eat at when ordering room service. We loved the à la carte breakfast service at the Grill and the staff there was excellent. The breakfast buffet was not as clean, food was not as good and not the same offerings, and service was not as attentive. For dinner Risotto had delicious Italian food, Hacienda Del Mortero had delicious tacos and the Grill was great too. Portions are small but we liked this as we could try a variety of dishes without wasting food. Ayami was our least favourite restaurant as the Asian food is not authentic but the fish was very fresh. The dinner buffet was mediocre with limited offerings. The Surfos bar was great. We enjoyed the hotdog and hamburger stand by the pool! Sky lounge was nice and usually quiet. The main pool was really nice with a great view of the beach. We were mostly in the adult pool where the swim up bar was located but it needed some work as some tiles were missing and it often seemed scummy with sunscreen. There was a lack of loungers available poolside and some were a bit broken. Would be nice to have more umbrellas and loungers on the beach. You cannot swim at the beach - surf is very rough. Black flag everyday. Beach is gorgeous for walking. Overall a nice resort. A little tired in some areas in need of renovation and a bit understaffed in the restaurants.

Everything was up to par

Everything went well on our vacation. I guess the only thing that i can say was since the room were so outdated the fan was creaking and you really can see that the rooms was already old. Nonetheless staff were amazing.

All the pools were excellent. Even during their busy days they were never crowded. There might have been the occasional day it's a little harder to find a chair but there's 4 pools if you're in the Serenity Club otherwise there's two pools you can use). The round pool is to the left of the big round tower you can see at a distance. The rooms were all very clean and the bed was comfortable along with the fluffy pillows. Staff were all excellent except for one older shorter guy that worked at breakfast on the Serenity restaurant. He was not friendly, wouldn't bring food we ordered and was a little impatient at times.

The Master 2 Bedroom Suite was amazing. Huge rooms overlooking the water with a sunset view. Amazing.
