For the price and location it was a good stay. The property mostly the room was very run down and worn. They definitely need a remodel. Cabinets were falling apart and they filled in the sink hole with a none matching piece of granite in the kitchen area. The water pressure sucked as well. Toilet easily gets stopped up. But the location is amazing and by far the best part along with the affordability. The staff was helpful but you could tell they were understaffed and worked to death. I felt bad for them actually. Not a bad stay just an okay one.

This was my third time staying at this hotel, and I noticed quite a few changes compared to my previous visits. First, I stayed on the Pyramid side, and the room was very poorly maintained. The paint was peeling off the walls, there were holes in several places, and I even found hair on the bed covers. I was very disappointed, especially since I had always had a better experience during my previous stays. The food was okay overall, but unfortunately, I got food poisoning during my trip. I'm not sure what caused it, but it definitely affected my experience. The staff at the pool bars seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in serving guests. The lobby also had an unpleasant smell, which was surprising and unappealing. Another big disappointment was that the casino had been removed. That was one of the main reasons we chose to return to this hotel. In addition, the restaurants that required reservations were always fully booked. Considering the hotel didn't seem very busy, I suspect they were understaffed. Several employees even mentioned that the hotel was not doing very well and that they were short-staffed, which may explain why so many of the staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Overall, this stay was very disappointing compared to my previous visits. I hope the hotel can improve its maintenance, staffing, and overall guest experience because it used to be a place I really enjoyed visiting.

The hotel needs a-lot of repairs the pool borders the hotel sealing from out side everything looks old the bath room tube and the sink was plug needs alot of improvement the staff was very nice and helpful

The suite and pools were fantastic. There is a pool option for everyone- beach like zero entry, calm, shallow and kid friendly, lively, swim up bar, etc. No shortage of options. Our Penthouse 2 bedroom corner suite couldn’t have been better. Staff were great and attentive. Kid’s club space and staff was amazing. Our kids loved it and gave us some down time without kids as a part of our stay, not an added cost - WOW. The beach was more for view than use as the seaweed across Cancun has become a big problem. That is why there are so many great pool options, that are saltwater too. The only thing that didn’t blow us away was food. It was plentiful but l felt like standard offerings and missed some of the things we look forward to with other resorts we’ve been to between offerings and flavors. Seemed like shrimp was the only seafood you could easily find for example. The stand-outs was the street taco stand that was available all the time (yum!) and the coffees in the morning. We’d come back for a family fun and relaxing trip, especially with kids! If we want a food focused trip, we’d probably look elsewhere.
