“This hotel was an amazing last minute find! So clean, the bed very comfortable and the room is very spacious with beautiful old and new decor. The shower is hot and good pressure. The church bell is frequent but I loved it, I found it to be a beautiful sound and a reminder of the time. I slept with earplugs and did not hear it once. “The Paramar offers guests the ability to make simple meals within there rooms by offering a full fridge, microwave and cooktop complete with cooking equipment and dishes. The rooms are a little dated but very comfortable with each room having a private balcony. The rooftop pool is heated and offers gorgeous sunsets and a happy hour. The area is walkable to the Malecon and the beach is directly across the street. The area features several small restaurants and feels very safe. ”

“This was an amazing property. My only small complaints were that our shower barely drained and the bath towels smelled dingy/not freshly laundered. The pool in our unit was SOOOOO HOT, thus not refreshing, but only mother nature's relentless sunshine caused that issue. Maybe a shade of some sort over the pool can help with that problem, but it didn't make our vacation any less wonderful! The hotel's main pool was nice and cool so we found ourselves there often.
